About Me

Story teller, coffee snob, lover of Mondays, and among many other things, a certified weirdo. I was born to two actors, if that tells you anything. Storytelling was a part of how I grew up and has influenced just about every decision I have made in my career. I was introduced to the powerful stories that photos can tell after a friend decided to point a lens in my direction, freshman year of college. Full disclosure, I am not a fan of looking at myself. The story that I had stuck in my head about me was not a kind one. That started to change with those images. Learning to love every bit of what I saw, even the parts that don't line up with how we are told we should look, is a process that I am still very much in the midst of, but one that was started thanks to a few raw, authentic images that were captured in a safe environment. That is what I want to bring into the world with Travis Carr Photo, and what I strive to bring into every photo shoot I am a part of.

I have expanded my love of stories and photography to include landscapes, portraits, branding images, and weddings, and I am always looking for new ways to explore this craft and provide value to my clients.
